Thanks for the great walk on a sunny sunday in mid-August. As it is said by numerous visitors' comments on your website, it was one of highlights, if not the highlight, of our holiday. Your devotion to the Burren is really fascinating and it makes me feel happy to have met you.

The three+ hours walking with Tony Kirby were, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our 7 day Ireland trip. What an experience and an education to learn about geology, botany, farming, history, ancient tribes, burial mounds, abandoned potato fields, flora and fauna, politics, and conservation efforts. We covered a few miles, but learned so much, His tour was fact-filled, informal, and yet so good for our overall sense of the history of Ireland.

The Burren walk by Tony was great! The Burren is a large area that has much to see. However, unless you take a tour such as the guided walk with Tony Kirby, you will not be able to fully appreciate the Burren area. Our Burren National Park walk was an easy hike that included fabulous views, history of the area, and many examples of beautiful plants and flowers. Tony Kirby is great at explaining how the Burren developed and to be honest we would not have appreciated the Burren area without his guided tour. I would not miss this guided walk through the Burren.

Just a word of thanks for last Sunday It was an excellent walk ; I really enjoyed it. Though I have seen the Burren many times, every one has a different way of interpreting the same thing which makes it all the more interesting.

Thanks to Tony, our bride-to-be had a fantastic "Hen Walk" on the
Burren. Tony took a group of 10 of us on a beautiful coastal walk
with plenty of stops to explain about the flora, fauna, dole out the
odd bit of chocolate and to help us toast with some bubbles.
The walk was a brilliant way for our Hen to get around and chat to
all the girls while Tony grilled her with some geography questions.
The fun was making her wear something ridiculous every time she
answered a question wrong! We would highly recommend Tony to anyone
organising a group activity. It's a great way to pass a few hours and
learn about the wonderful Burren. Thanks from all of us, Tony.
